Back to School Picnic: Join the faculty, staff and Trinity families for this fun and relaxing event as we all get ready for the start of the new school year.

First Day of School Opening Chapel: This event marks the beginning of the new school year and all families are welcome to join their Trinity students.

Back-to-School Night: Parents Only. This is an opportunity to get to know the teachers, learn about the curriculum, and find out about class room expectations. This is also the first Parent Association meeting of the year to learn about what’s happening at Trinity.

Annual Giving: Annual Giving is an important event for independent schools. It provides the funds that add the “sparkle” to our educational program. The funds raised are used for programmatic enhancements and/or smaller capital improvements. Annual Giving bridges the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of the excellent educational program we want for our students. The Annual Giving Drive begins in the fall of the year and all donations to Annual Giving are tax deductible.

In the Streets: This is held in downtown Frederick. Our booth is a marketing and art project opportunity for families outside of the community to get to know us.

Trunk or Treat & Cauldron Chili Cook-off: Children will have the opportunity to trick or treat in a safe environment in the school parking lot. Prizes are awarded for best decorated car. Come enjoy a fun night for the entire family.

Halloween: Festivities are planned by teachers and class parents. They include a costume parade in the afternoon followed by class parties. In the Lower School, class parents organize the class parties. The Middle School party is organized by the Middle School room-parent team and includes students in grades six, seven, and eight.

Grandparents’ Day: Grandparents (or special friends) are all invited by a mailed invitation to join their grandchildren on this memorable day. Special activities are planned in the morning, including a classroom visit, chapel service, all-school music program, and a community brunch with grandparents and children, after which students are dismissed at 12:00 noon. Please be sure the Trinity Development Office has an accurate address for your child’s grandparents as this is a cherished day at school that grandparents would not want to miss.

Christmas Shoppe: An opportunity for our students to do some Christmas shopping while at school. This is a fun Parent Association event.

Christmas Pageant: This heart-felt performance is held on the last day of school preceding Christmas Break. The entire school has a part in the program and parents are invited to attend this joyous kickoff for the holiday season! All students are dismissed at 12:00 noon.

Parent vs Teacher Basketball Game: Parents challenge the teachers to a game of “hoops” to kick of the Trinity Basketball Season. This is a family fun night not to be missed.

Trinity Library and Media Tea: What began as a small group of caring friends getting together over tea to help build the Trinity library has now turned into one of the most anticipated events of the school year! Carefully selected books for the classrooms and library are on display for purchase by parents, grandparents, and friends of Trinity. The books are then inscribed and generously donated back to the school for educational use. Other educational materials and equipment may be included. An elegant affair you don’t want miss!

Gala: The Gala is our school’s dinner and auction. It is a fun, fellowship and fundraising event where our parents and other friends of the school gather to eat, drink, and make merry – all to support the education program for the children of our school.

Dance and Gymnastics Show: Each student prepares for weeks with the physical education teacher to choreograph and practice a special dance production and every year the students and parents look forward to this special afternoon of entertainment!

Graduation and Closing Chapel: Parents, family members, and friends of the school are invited to this combined event which is held on the last day of school. It is a time to congratulate our departing eighth graders and celebrate their years at Trinity. It is also a formal closing to the end of school. All students are dismissed at 12:00 noon.
